At the age of 20, I haven't been to Baguio City... until I met my Aunt again after few years, when we went to Pangasinan. She wanted to have bonding with each other in Baguio. And it's all her treat! Yes! Indeed, the best things in life are free. :)

It's Ninoy Aquino Day. So, it's Holiday! I have the whole weekends to spend in Baguio.

My mom accompanied me from Cubao-Dau Tarlac, where will I meet my Aunt and her cousin. Fortunately, the Five Star Bus Lines was celebrating their 27th anniversary and so, they were giving discounted fares from Manila-Dau for only 49 pesos.

We left Pasig at 6am and arrived in Dau at 8am. We had a quick breakfast at Cupong-Cupong Restaurant and grabbed groceries at Pure Gold Dau for the trip. Exciting! :)

We left Dau at 10am via Victory Liner and arrived in Baguio City at 3:30 pm.

on the way to Baguio!

Yey! Welcome to Baguio City!

As soon as we get off the bus, there were already groups of guys offering of their tour package. You can hire their cab or even van for a bigger group for 2,500 pesos for the whole day. However, we did not accept since it's too pricey. Nevertheless, they were still accommodating as they were able to help us find our hotel around the town proper. We paid 50 pesos as they transferred us from the terminal to the hotel.

We found some hotels but they were expensive. But since we were already tired, we checked-in at Hotel Villa Rosa. One night is 2,500 pesos for 3 pax, inclusive of breakfast.

We took a rest for few minutes and started walking around the town proper. We went to Burnham Park and grabbed some snacks. We wanted to ride on the rented swan boats but it suddenly rained...
